Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Rikoukei Labs (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.rikoukeilabs.com or contact us, how that information is used, and the choices you have. This site is an informational company website. It has no user accounts, no online store, and no contact form — you reach us directly by email or via our external profiles.
Information We Collect
Information you send us. When you email us or message us through our GitHub or LinkedIn profiles, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to read and respond to your inquiry.
Technical data collected automatically. Like any website, when your browser loads this site our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We do not use this data to build profiles of visitors.
We do not run website analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking tools, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our security and delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies (for example, a bot-management cookie) to protect the site from abuse. These are essential to keeping the service available and are not used to track you across other websites.
Third-Party Services
To deliver this site we rely on a small number of third parties. When your browser loads the site, your IP address is necessarily shared with the providers that serve the content:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and hosting infrastructure. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — the site loads typefaces from Google’s font servers (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), which receive your IP address when fonts are fetched. See Google’s privacy policy.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — a JavaScript library used for the homepage visuals is loaded from the cdnjs content-delivery network.
The site also links out to third-party platforms — GitHub, LinkedIn, and itch.io. Once you follow a link to one of these sites, their own privacy policies apply; we have no control over how they handle your data.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for our ordinary business records, after which it is deleted. Automatically collected technical logs are retained by our providers only for the limited period set by their own retention practices, primarily for security and reliability.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have sent us. Because we do not maintain accounts or profiles, the data we hold is generally limited to your past correspondence. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for a general and professional audience and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here.
